The members of aespa were one of the most exciting acts to perform at KAMP LA 2022. But while their performance earned them praise, fans were outraged to see that member Giselle was forced to contend with wardrobe malfunctions.

Giselle made MYs proud with her performance, particularly considering that she faced some difficulties with her outfit, as she was dressed in a short skirt and a tube top.

While the outfit certainly looked great, fans noticed that she seemed to be uncomfortable in it, having to constantly fix it while she was onstage.

In fact, she even left the stage several times to go and get help from staff, leading fans to criticize her stylists.

This is not the first time fans criticize aespa’s stylists for the way they dressed Giselle. During her “ZOO” stage with NCT at SMTOWN LIVE 2022, Giselle was also seen trying to hold down her skirt and even toning down her dance due to her discomfort over the skirt’s length.
Yet, just like at SMTOWN LIVE 2022, her professionalism shone through. Netizens praised her for still giving the performance her all…

Not only that, but she also addressed the issue on social media later, keeping a positive attitude and even saying, “But tbf my outfit was cute tho,” gaining praise from fans for her take on the issue.

Fans are now calling on SM Entertainment to address the problem and ensure that neither Giselle nor her members have to deal with it again, especially since it happened more than once.

What’s more, this time it even led to translation issues: Giselle is the English speaker in the group but since her wardrobe malfunctions forced her to leave the stage, aespa were left at a bit of a loss as to how to communicate with the audience. There was a translator there, but according to fans, the members were mainly relying on Giselle.
